I heard this song when I was a sophomore (2017 ish can’t remember) but my teacher out a music video a boy band (I think four members) and the song went something like this at the end of the chorus:

Idk I know it’s not a lot but I’m trying to find this song LOL, also I believe the boy band was mostly Afro American young men, and the video was in color. If I could guess the year I would say maybe late 80s or 90s
