I also feel hot & red ear problem since childhood. I m now 38 & still same. It happens to me every nnight only in winter season (temp below 15). Still seffering. :( but in summer, it just vanishes. I have noticed 2 reasons for it to increase soo far. 1. while I use hot wather for bath 2. use of too much warm clothes.
