I'm glad I found this forum. Lots of posts and lots of helpful ideas to try. Short of a cure, we can at least commiserate together. ;-) For about a week now I've been taking 500mg of magnesium supplements. I'm going to give it a month before I decide whether it's helping or not and I'll post once that month is up. From my own research I'm convinced both my sympathetic nervous system and my immune system are on overdrive. My 'S.N.S.' giving me hot flashes and making me feel like a menopausal woman. My 'I.S.' freaking out anytime I touch my ears (urticaria maybe? who knows). I'd say the most telling aspect of RES has to be that you don't see it around much. Not because no one has it and not because it's so rare, but because the people who have it go to great, unimaginable lengths to hide it. It keeps me indoors and ducking for cover, when all I wanna do is have a normal life.
