Let's see if anybody can help with this. It's a song from the early to mid eighties (maybe late 70's?) about a taxi driver, not the Chapin or Vanessa Paradis song. This song has lyrics such as "take a seat 'cause I'm your Taxi, let me drive you I'm your taxi...Taxi, won't you ride me I'm your taxi, baby I will ride you(or drive you?) home...home...hoooome........" It's a man's voice and the song is pop-rock I would say. Used to hear it often on the radio back then so I assumed it would be easy to google it or youtube it but uh uh. Maybe is an obscure german, italy, french band or vocalist? And maybe the name of the song hasnothing to do with Taxi in the title? lol but it's the word that is more prominent. Merci!
