The song opens with these water droplet sounds, but that’s about all I can remember. It does this fade in type of thing where the droplet sound increases each second (a crescendo). Hello. I've been searching for this song that's been running through my head for years. The chorus goes something like "[I just wanna] be with you", and I particularly recall the "you" part sort of echoing throughout the chorus.
The song had a slightly slow vaporwave/synthwave-ish style with its instrumental, and the song had a BPM of around 80 — it had a similar vibe to "Time Passes" by HOME or "PLASTIC" by iacon (the song's melody and overall tone was also very reminicent of "pastel pink" by crisaunt). The song itself sounded very recently produced; if I had to pinpoint a release frame it would probably be the mid 2010s to 2022 (the year I remember last hearing the song).

The song opens with these water droplet sounds, but that’s about all I can remember. It does this fade in type of thing where the droplet sound increases each second (a crescendo). I cannot remember any of the lyrics at all, but I know if I saw the artists name and/or song title, I would be like, oh yeah that’s it!
I also want to say that her song came out a little bit before Latoya Luckett’s song “Torn” came out. Or maybe around the same time? Anyway, Latoya’s Torn song almost has a similar vibe to the song I’m thinking of.

Hello. I've been searching for this song that's been running through my head for years. The chorus goes something like "[I just wanna] be with you", and I particularly recall the "you" part sort of echoing throughout the chorus.
The song had a slightly slow vaporwave/synthwave-ish style with its instrumental, and the song had a BPM of around 80 — it had a similar vibe to "Time Passes" by HOME or "PLASTIC" by iacon (the song's melody and overall tone was also very reminicent of "pastel pink" by crisaunt). The song itself sounded very recently produced; if I had to pinpoint a release frame it would probably be the mid 2010s to 2022 (the year I remember last hearing the song).
As for how I originally heard the song, it was in a Roblox game by the name of Khol's Admin House where someone in the server was playing it through the game's ":music" command. I actually knew the song's name at some point and even discovered a lyric video on YouTube, I think the song was just titled "Be With You" or something along those lines? Forgot the artist completely though. The vocalist of the song was female, and I vividly remember one part of a certain verse had "sex tonight", because it was completely blanked out in the Roblox version.
